Requirements

She had a name and the merch but that was it. She wanted an entire branding package including a full website, logo, color scheme, business cards, advertisements, social media accounts, SEO, shopping cart system, and more.

I also created how-to YouTube videos for the owner of the co to continue to add/remove products to his shopping cart system and moderate orders.

The site is hosted on my private server, for ease of access and moderation.

Wireframes

I quickly sketched up some wires with the requirements.

Research

My goal was to get the required features into an interface that was simple and clean but had the new age feel in the color scheme she wanted. Then we scheduled a call to go over everything. I researched other shops similar to hers within the same demographics to see what their current shops look like so we could get a feel for what was out there, what currently worked in today’s market, and what did not work. From there I narrowed it down to 3 sites for her to take a look at and evaluate, as well as asked her to find 2 of her own.
I asked open-ended questions to find out what she liked or wanted, what she was unsure of, and what she disliked about those sites. Next was to implement the changes, and go over what she liked/disliked about that, and make necessary revisions. It needed to function for ios/Android as well as Desktop so I kept this in mind when designing.

Design + Testing

After reviewing the notes with Kady, I implemented all the required changes and alterations while keeping the items she wanted. From there I began to build her shopping cart system with her inventory.
We made a few revisions in its aesthetics but overall she was happy with the completion of the project.

I also created how-to YouTube videos for her to continue to add/remove products to her shopping cart system and moderate orders.

I setup the basic SEO package to get her started (editing her keywords, backlinks, etc) as needed.

The site is hosted on my private server, for ease of access and moderation.

Remaining Work Left

All that remains to complete this project is the last of her inventory from her, plus a test of the shopping cart and payment systems.
